Below are some screen capturing and image converting free software tools to compliment our online (web based) image and sign generators found on www.CustomSignGenerator.com. "Custom Sign Generator" website allows you to manipulate (change captions) the text message on Flash image files (funny pictures from a custom fortune cookie to gag political parodies) which can be sent as free greeting cards (even have a fridge magnet or sticker ordered) or you can capture (with the tools below) the images to display on your website.

Screen Grabber is a tiny (100KB once extracted or 25KB zipped) freeware screen grabber (no learning curve, no nagware, no spyware, no viruses, no complicated manuals to read, no malware, just use it NOW). This application allows you to capture either an area you select of the screen or take a full screenshot of any window that is opened on your computer. Even Photoshop (Adobe's $500 photo editing software or most other shareware picture editors) does not allow you to select an area of a screen for image capture like our free software does!

Great for capturing screenshots of: videos in play (*.MPG, *.AVI, *.RM, DVD, etc), Macromedia Flash (*.SWF) files, *.PDF files (Adobe Acrobat), ebooks, *.PPT files (MS Power Point and other Microsoft Office applications), web pages (capture those secure protected images), most opened program/software windows, online JAVA, online games (Shockwave, Flash, etc), filled in forms, document grabs, MSDOS windows (32bit run in Windows environment), etc.
Grabs screen capture or captured area which you can save as a bitmap image for maximum quality (look below for our tool to convert your image to *.JPG for web/blog publishing with compressed format/qualities).
You can print captured or loaded *.BMP images, and/or paste into other Windows programs, like MS Word.
Files can be saved as Bitmap image formatted files. We also added in the ability to crop *.BMP images either captured or from your own picture collection!

BMP/GIF To JPEG Converter is a tiny freeware utility (only 100KB in size or 30KB zipped) to convert those bitmap and/or static *.GIF image files on your hard drive into JPEG format image files (compressed format). We created this software to use with our above ScreenGrabber software (as it will only let you save screen captures or croppings to *.BMP files) which are usually very large in size, now with BMP2JPEG, you can make the files almost 1/10 (one tenth) the size in a compressed JPEG format ready for web site publishing (or use images on your blog)!

Can be run directly from your hard drive once extracted from ZIP file, no need to install and add more "crap" to your registry ;)
Choose the quality to save you JPEG image as, choose from 1% to 100%.
Convert GIF (if animated GIF, only first frame is loaded) images to JPG.
Convert BMP files to JPG.

~~BMP Image Resizer~~ (not available for download right now as we are trying to remake it a JPG resizer combined with *.BMP resizing, plus a few glitches in the BETA release we had) is a freeware utility to resize created (or from your harddrive) *.BMP files and resave the new size.

Make your images smaller and resave as a new file or overwrite existing file.
